Sam's Hawk Writing

In NZ we have hawks and the hawk can Kill baby rabbits.  The hawk can Kill Some baby lambs and the hawk can fly very fast in the wind. The eagle can eat fish. When they're hungry they eat fish. His wings  are big and he has a sharp beak to catch and eat his food. It can rip off your skin if it lands on you and you are not wearing a glove.

Weta Writing

I have been learning about weta. Here is some of my writing about weta.



Weta are carnivores which means they eat other animals. They are also herbivores which means they eat plants. They like to eat flowers and seed heads and snails. A weta is an insects. They are Omnivorous And eat little  insects and plants. The weta has a hard shell To keep it safe. It has long legs So it can feel with the legs. A weta lives in a treend in Hollow tree trunks and under houses.

I have a puppy and it’s name is Archie. He is a boy and it is a golder lab and it is a little dog. It’s name is cleo and it is a girl and it can run very fast like a cheetah and cleo is good and she can run very fast and I can take cleo for a walk to the shop.

Over the past few weeks we have been part of the 'Get NZ Writing' poetry project. This project aimed to get 96,000 poems written across NZ!! We were sent a tin with objects in it and we used one of these objects to write poems. Here is my poem about spiders.
